Gregg Henson has spent most of his adult life on the radio. He started his career in 1988 in Detroit and stayed there until 2005. While in Detroit, Henson delivered Championships to The Detroit Red Wings, Pistons, Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans. Knowing he couldn’t ever bring the Lions win, in 2005 he packed his bags and moved to Austin, Texas to Host afternoon drive on the ESPN affiliate in The Capital City. In true Henson form, he delivered an NCAA football Championship to Austin in 2005 as Vince Young led the “horns to the BCS title. Henson is routinely credited with increasing the ratings at ESPN radio and delivering a title to Austin.
Gregg’s propensity for delievering championship teams to the city in which he lives is amazing; teams have won championships in the town he has worked in on multiple occasions, including the Detroit Red Wing, The Detroit Pistons, The Philadelphia Phillies and Texas Longhorns. Colleagues and Co-workers marvel at his ability t o deliver championships and often use the term “Where Henson goes the Champagne flows.” “Certainly I expect to bring a title to Big D, it’s what I do” explained Henson. “Sadly, I wasn’t born in Texas but I got here as soon as I could.”
Gregg is married and has 2 young sons Noah 6 and Cooper 4 who love “Bevo” and the “Dallas Stars (Cowboy helmet).” Read Gregg's Blog here
Barsky
Barsky began his legendary Philadelphia radio career in the 1980's when he was hired by WCAU-FM to host their morning drive show. When Barsky left WCAU-FM , his morning show had turned into a ratings leader and was one of the most listened to Top 40 shows in the country. In late 1985, Barsky brought his talents to Chicago's WLS-FM.
After a brief stint in station ownership, Barsky longed to return to his first love, morning radio, and in 1991 he joined Houston's KRBE. Barsky returned to Philly in 1993 to WPLY, where he turned "The Barsky Show" into one of the market's top rated shows.
She can do it all...Sybil has been with CBS Radio for several years and does everything; dealing with Barsky & Gregg, navigating the afternoon grid-lock (traffic) and is the lovely voice on the phone when you call.
